Hello, meet the heart behind The Calm Within ~

Welcome! My name is Susan and for over 30 years, I've worked as a nurse across many different fields from Primary Care to Plastic Surgery. And the past few years, I've been working in Telehealth, where every single day I have the privilege of supporting patients navigating a diagnosis of HSV ~ young and old, from all walks of life.

My role is part clinical, part emotional lifeline. I've pulled patients off the ledge of despair. I've cried with them, laughed with them, and felt a gratitude I can't quite put into words when I hear the shift in their voice ~ that moment when they realize that everything is going to be okay.

I always end my conversations the same way:

"This does not define who you are in any way, so go live a healthy, happy life."

That belief is the foundation of everything I do ~ and everything I've built here.

I don't have HSV, but I've spent years imagining what it would feel like to receive that diagnosis. What I know for certain is that I would want someone in my corner ~ someone with compassion, empathy, and real clinical knowledge ~ to help me understand my body and how to support it.

That's exactly who I want to be for you.

I'm a firm believer in the power of supplements. I don't take any medications ~ I support my body through nutrition, intentional supplementation, and daily meditation. Every product in this store has been personally researched and vetted by me with clinical eyes. I investigate ingredients, question sources, and only carry what I would take myself or recommend to someone I love.
